B2B on
Shopify: large customers order themselves.
Your retailers and large customers order online, with their own prices and payment terms. Shopify brings company accounts, catalogs and payment terms for that. We set it up and connect your ERP. Beforehand we check what your plan can do.
What a B2B shop on Shopify covers
- Companies and locations
- Customers are companies with locations and contacts. Each location has its own addresses, prices and payment terms.
- Price lists through catalogs
- A catalog defines which products a company sees and at what price. Volume prices and minimum quantities are possible.
- Payment terms
- Customers pay by invoice with a payment term, for example 30 days. Payment on shipment is also possible.
- Ordering by themselves
- Large customers log in, see their prices and reorder. Your inside sales team gains time for advice.
- Draft orders
- Your sales team creates orders for customers and sends them for approval. That suits phone and trade-show orders.

According to Shopify Help, as of October 2026. The Starter and Retail plans have no B2B. Shopify keeps extending the features, so we check the current state before every project.

How we build your B2B shop
- Record processesWe look at customer groups, price rules, payment terms and the path of an order. The required plan follows from that.
- One shop or twoB2B and consumers run in one shop or separately. We decide based on range, prices and brand presence.
- Data and ERPCompanies, prices and stock mostly come from the ERP. We define the direction and rhythm of the syncs.
- Test with real customersSelected large customers order before launch. Their feedback goes into the last round.
Where Shopify B2B hits limits
Very nested price rules from the ERP can't always be mapped one to one. The same goes for approvals across several levels at the customer.
Configurators, negotiated quotes or framework agreements often need an app or custom development. We check every rule before the quote.
Who this is for
A good fit if
- You sell to retailers, trade businesses or large customers.
- Your customers reorder regularly.
- Prices and payment terms depend on the customer.
A weaker fit if
- Every order is an individual quote.
- Your pricing logic lives entirely in the ERP and changes with each order.

What you probably want to know

Usually through an integration with the ERP. Prices and companies are maintained there and synced regularly. Small catalogs can also be maintained by import.
Yes. Shopify supports payment terms such as 7, 30 or 60 days. Shopify or your ERP issues the invoice, depending on the process.
You create company accounts and invite customers. On request there is a registration form with your approval.
